The ARCS, with support from the IFRC, provided AFN 1,365,000 in cash assistance to 130 flood-affected families in Gulistan, Bala Buluk, Farah Rod, and Bakwa districts of Farah Province. Each family received AFN 10,500.
This assistance will help meet the daily and urgent needs of the affected families to some extent and reduce their basic challenges.
In line with its fundamental principles, ARCS continues to support flood-affected communities by providing food and non-food items, health services, and other life-saving assistance, ensuring a timely response to their needs.
