Emergency Aid Provided to 14 Rainfall-Affected Families in Laghman

The ARCS provided emergency assistance to 14 families affected by recent rainfall in Mehtarlam, the provincial capital, as well as Alishang and Alingar districts of Laghman Province.

As part of the assistance, 13 families each received 1 tent, 6 blankets, 1 tarpaulin, 1 kitchen set, and 2 water jerrycans.

Additionally, a cash assistance of 15,000 Afghanis was provided to a family in the Nankazai area of Mehtarlam city, which had been affected by the collapse of the roof of a room.

The ARCS remains committed to providing all types of humanitarian assistance to flood-affected families and to meeting their basic needs.
