The ARCS, with support from the ICRC, has provided a total of AFN 18,750,000 in cash assistance to 750 drought-affected farmers in Marawara district of Kunar province. Each farmer received 25,000 Afghanis in financial support.
This assistance aims to provide immediate financial relief to the farmers, strengthen agricultural productivity, and contribute to improved food security.
It is worth noting that just a day earlier, the ARCS distributed an additional AFN 37.5 million among 1,500 drought-affected families in Sarkani district of the same province.
