1,000 Repatriated Families Receive Nearly 120 Tons of Humanitarian Aid in Herat

Under the directive of Sheikh-ul-Hadith Shahabuddin Delawar, General President of ARCS, assistance comprising 12 different types of food and non-food items was provided to 1,000 repatriated families in Herat.
The aid, supplied by the Turkish Red Crescent and totaling nearly 120 tons, included for each family 50 kg of flour, 10 kg of rice, 5 liters of cooking oil, 10 kg of lentils, 10 kg of chickpeas, 5 kg of sugar, 5 kg of macaroni, 800 grams of tomato paste, one blanket, one bottle of dishwashing liquid, along with several other essential items.
It is expected that this assistance will effectively help meet the short-term food and non-food needs of the repatriated families.
