Acting deputy director of the Afghan Red Crescent Society Mullah Nooruddin Turabi,met with the Secretary General of the Norwegian Red Cross, Mr. Brent Appland, at the ARCS headquarter in Kabul on issues related to the Afghan Red Crescent Society.

During the meeting, Mr. Brent Appland, Secretary General of the Norwegian Red Cross, promised various health commitments to the Afghan Red Crescent Society. He said in this year the Norwegian Red Cross would provide all the necessary medicines for the 46 ARCS clinics and would play a pivotal role to establishing more stable ARCS clinics.

Mr Brent Appland promised to pay salaries for all the staff of ARCS clinics a year. He promised to the acting deputy director of the Afghan Red Crescent Society, Mullah Nooruddin Turabi, that in addition to the established Afghan Red Crescent clinics, he would also contribute to the supply of mobile clinics, supply vehicles and salaries, and to help the Afghan Red Crescent Society. , Which created several more mobile clinics.

Mr Brand promised to donate five vehicles to the Afghan Red Crescent where the mobile clinics are organized. Brent Appland said in this year the Norwegian Red Cross would also complete the Corona unit at the Afghan Red Crescent Central Hospital in Kabul.

In this meeting Dr. Mohammad Nabi Burhan, Secretary General of the Afghan Red Crescent Society, Mr. Ghulam Habib Hassam, Director of International Relations, and Mr. Markozdiaz, Director of the Norwegian Red Cross Disaster Management Authority was also participated. Mullah Nooruddin Turabi, the acting deputy director of the ARCS welcomed the Norwegian Red Cross commitment and promised to provide Norwegian medical aid to those in need in full transparency.
