Vice-president of ARCS Met the Head of Danish Red Cross at Torkham!

Today, Monday, the 28th of April, Hafiz Azizur Rahman, the Vice-president of ARCS, in his visit to Nangarhar Province, met Mohammad Al-Shammah, Head of Danish Red Cross in Afghanistan, and accompanying delegation. 
During the meeting, the Vice-president briefed the delegation regarding the services of ARCS within the refugee camp, including healthcare services, distribution of hot meals, cash-for work initiative, public awareness, and volunteer-driven services. Further, he appealed for the expansion of collaboration across other sectors.  
In response, the Head of Danish Red Cross in Afghanistan assured him to extend support for refugees in Nangarhar Province, particularly in livelihood enhancement, cash assistance distribution, and psychological health services.
