Paktika; AFN 22.5 Million in Cash Assistance Distributed to 1,500 Displaced Families

The ARCS distributed AFN 22.5 million in cash assistance to 1,500 internally displaced families in Barmal, Shakin and Tarwa districts of Paktika province.
The assistance was provided by the ICRC, with each family receiving AFN 15,000.
Among the beneficiary families, 1,192 families were residents of Barmal, 200 families were residents of Shakin, and 108 families were residents of Tarwa district.
The cash assistance was provided to displaced families to help meet their basic needs and reduce the difficulties caused by displacement.
The ARCS considers supporting families displaced due to incidents and disasters its humanitarian responsibility and strives to meet their basic needs through emergency assistance.
