Ghor: Cash Assistance Provided to 150 Flood-Affected Families

The ARCS distributed 1,575,000 AFN in cash assistance to 150 families affected by flooding in Murghab, Charsada, and Al-Farooq districts of Ghor Province.

The assistance was provided by the IFRC, through which each family received 10,500 AFN.

The assistance is expected to help meet the families’ basic needs and reduce their economic hardships.

Supporting flood-affected families and addressing their basic needs is considered one of the key humanitarian responsibilities of the ARCS
