The Acting General President of ARCS Convened a Meeting with Turkish Consul and a Delegation from Turkish Red Crescent in Herat Province!
On the evening of the 10th of January, Sheikh-ul-Hadith Shahabuddin Delawar, the Acting General President of ARCS, held meeting with Sinan Elhan, the Consul of Turkish Consulate, Mohammad Shakaru Jan, the Under-secretary General of Turkish Red Crescent and the Director of Turkish Coordination Agency for Humanitarian Assistance (TIKA).
During the meeting, Mr. Delawar underscored the importance and efficiency of cooperation and assistance of Turkish Red Crescent in supporting the impoverished and vulnerable people. He assured that humanitarian assistance will transparently and timely be delivered to vulnerable people and those in genuin needs.
Moreover, Mr. Delawar expressed his heartfelt appreciation for their support in financing the reconstruction of healthcare center, Marastoon and the center for the treatment and care of psychological patients. Further he thanked Turkey for the arrival of 10th train with essential food and non-food supplies and acknowledged Turkiye as a steadfast ally in supporting ARCS during challenging times.
Follow his remarks, Turkish Consul, the Under-secretary General of Turkish Red Crescent and the Head of Turkish Cooperation Agency for Humanitarian Assistance (TIKA) praised the humanitarian activities of ARCS and promised to deliver humanitarian aids to vulnerable Afghans through ARCS. Also they expressed aspiration to expand and continue their support in the future to Afghans.
