19 children who had been sent to Germany by the ARCS for treatment of severe burn injuries and bone infections (osteomyelitis) returned home after completing their treatment and recovery and were handed over to their families.

The parents of these children expressed their happiness over their children’s recovery and return and thanked the leadership of the ARCS and its partner organizations for providing the opportunity for their treatment and recovery.

It is worth noting that, under a memorandum of understanding with Peace Village International, the ARCS has, for the past 36 years, annually referred children suffering from severe burns or bone infections to Germany for medical treatment.

To date, around 5,000 children have returned to their families after successful treatment, and this humanitarian program continues.

The ARCS is committed to sustaining support for the treatment and recovery of sick children through humanitarian cooperation.
