On the 31st of August, ARCS began the third and fourth phases of distributing of food aid to 47,400 families with the coordination of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the financial support of King Salman Foundation!

On the 31st of August, ARCS began the third and fourth phases of distributing of food aid to 47,400 families with the coordination of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the financial support of King Salman Foundation, where in third phase consists of 14,750 aid packages and the fourth phase includes 9,500 aid packages. It is worth mentioning that the first and second phases were completed by ARCS by the distributing food packages to 23,150 families. Mr. Mawlavi Matiul Haq Khalis, Acting President of ARCS, expressed his gratitude to Dr. Saeed Al-Ayyash, the representative of the OIC, and King Salman Foundation for their considerable support in past two years with the people of Afghanistan. During a media interview, Mr. Mawlavi Matiul Haq stated that this is our rule that before any distribution we carry out a transparent survey and if any organization want to take part in the distribution for transparency, then he is welcomed as we strive to provide speedy assistance to those in need. He called on the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the King Salman Charity Foundation not to limit their support to these grants alone but to extend their assistance to the nation in the spirit of Islamic brotherhood and offer help in various other areas as well. In a media statement, Dr. Saeed Al-Ayyash, the representative of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, announced the commencement of the third and fourth phases of food aid for impoverished families in Afghanistan. in these phases the distribution will take in 14 provinces, which includes: Ghazni, Maidan Wardag,Khost, Bamyan, Daikandi, Parwan, Panjshir, Kapisa, Badakhshan, Takhar, Kunduz, Balkh, and Jawzjan. Dr. Al-Ayyash highlighted that the distribution process will be carried out under the supervision of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, with financial support of King Salman Charity Foundation. He hoped to replicate this assistance in the coming year and expressed his gratitude to Afghan Red Crescent for their effective coordination, which played crucial rule in fulfilling the needs of vulnerable families in Afghanistan.
