Today, on Tuesday, 15th of February 2022 the Afghan Red Crescent Society distributed assistance to 1000 needy, drought-affected, displaced, headless, orphaned children, disabled and handicapped families in Gardez and Zurmat districts of Paktia province.

including 50 kg of flour, 24.5 kg of rice, 10 liters of oil, 7 kg of beans, 7 kg of lentils, 7 kg of pulses, 5 kg of sugar, 1 kg of green tea, 2 kg of salt were distributed to those families in the yard of Paktia Red Crescent society.

These assistance were distributed to those families in the yard of Paktia Red Crescent society, in the presence of Maulvi Ilyas Khel (Naseri), director of Central Southwest Zone, Mohammad Tayyab Mubarak, director of Paktia Red Crescent, Mr. Jensen, representative of German Peace Village, Noor Agha Sahibzada, spokesman of Red Crescent, Mohammad Naseer Ain, the staff and volunteers.

The assistance was provided by the German Peace Village Foundation. in addition to treating broken bones and severely injured children, the German Peace Foundation has provided a total of 6000 food items that will be distributed to needy families in Kabul, Paktia, Khost, Laghman and Kapisa provinces. It is expected that assistance will be provided to 1000 needy families in Khost province on Wednesday.
