The Afghan Red Crescent Society distributed aid to 2250 families in Uruzgan province
In this week The Afghan Red Crescent Society (ARCS) has distributed 8 items of food to 2250 needy, headless, drought- affected & displaced households in the capital of Uruzgan province.
The aid was launched on 7th of January in which 500 families received aid on January 7th, 850 families received on January 8th and 900 families received aid yesterday on January 9th.
It has been decided that within a few days the Afghan Red Crescent Society will be distribute aid to a total of 3000 needy families in Uruzgan province.
The aid consists 8 items, including 50kg of flour, 24.5 kg of rice, 7 kg of beans, 5 kg of sugar, 2kg of salt, 1 kg of tea, a packet of BP5 biscuit and 10 liters of oil.
